▸ Privacy Policy
Last updated: 14 July 2026 · Applies to unitstudios.com and the game GloomDelve.
The short version: we don't want your data, and honestly we wouldn't know what to do with it if we had it. GloomDelve has no accounts, no ads, no analytics, and no trackers, and neither does this website. The only personal data that moves at all is the bare minimum needed to make online multiplayer connect, and we don't store any of it.
Who We Are
UNiT Studios is a very small independent game studio. If anything on this page worries or confuses you, email contact@unitstudios.com and an actual human will get back to you.
This Website
- No cookies, no analytics, no ads. We genuinely don't know how many people visit this site, and we're fine with that.
- The site is hosted on Cloudflare Pages. Like any web host, Cloudflare processes the technical data of each request (such as your IP address) to serve the page and protect against abuse, under Cloudflare's privacy policy. None of that reaches us.
- The game trailer is a YouTube embed that only loads after you click play, using YouTube's privacy-enhanced (no-cookie) player. Until you click, nothing is requested from Google. Once playing, Google's privacy policy applies.
- If you email us, we read it, we reply, and that's it. There is no mailing list to accidentally end up on.
The Game: All Versions
- GloomDelve requires no account and asks for no personal details.
- The game sends no telemetry, analytics, or crash reports to us. When you die on floor three, that stays between you and the Wizard. Your saves, settings, and unlocks live on your own device (and in Steam Cloud, if you play on Steam).
- We can't sell, share, or monetise your data, because we never have it. This is the easiest promise we will ever make.
Steam Version
On Steam, the game uses Valve's Steamworks services for ownership verification, achievements, cloud saves, and controller support. Steam handles your identity (your Steam name and avatar may be visible to players you party up with) under Valve's privacy policy. We receive nothing from Valve beyond the game working.
Online Multiplayer
- Online co-op connects players directly to each other: one player in the party hosts the dungeon. As with any direct connection, the players in a session exchange the network address (IP) needed to reach each other, along with gameplay data.
- To introduce players to each other, we operate a small signaling service. It relays connection-setup messages between players and keeps no logs and no stored data; nothing about your session persists after you connect.
- Voice chat is push-to-talk and transmitted in real time between the players in your session only. It is never recorded, stored, or sent to us.
- Only join sessions with people you're comfortable sharing a dungeon (and a connection) with.
Web Version
If you play GloomDelve in a browser through a third-party portal (such as CrazyGames), that platform is a separate service with its own privacy policy, which applies to your use of their site. The game itself behaves as described above: no accounts, no telemetry.
Children
We do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone, children included. Since the game and site collect nothing, there is nothing to collect from children either. Multiplayer voice chat is unmoderated; parents should supervise online play as they see fit.
Your Rights
Depending on where you live (for example under the GDPR or CCPA), you have rights to access, correct, or delete personal data. Since we hold no personal data about players, there is usually nothing for us to dig up. The one exception is email you've sent us, which we will happily delete if you ask. Write to contact@unitstudios.com.
Changes
If this policy changes, the new version will be posted at this address with an updated date. Given how little we collect, changes should be rare and boring.
